Exclusive Interview with Legendary Rapper Fiend

Interview by Michael Bentley of Spin Doctor PR Firm

If you had a list of artists that have been in the game (and relevant) as long as Fiend, well you list would be very short. You have the names of Nas and Jay-Z, and anytime you mention those greats in a list, you know you are doing something right! Fiend came up as a member of the Master P army of rappers, No Limit Records, and he is one of the only soldiers left. Now on his own and with rumors of Jay-Z himself signing the legendary rapper, we got a chance to talk one on one with a rapper who is known as being the most slept on in the South!
1. So what is going with you right now?

I am recording right now, dropping mix tape after mix tape, producing, traveling, having a good azz time.

2. You hit the net hard this summer with two joints with Curren$y, can you

talk about your relationship with him?

Yeah, We dropping a lot of music period, being productive, Curren$y and Fiend are two cats from the same city

Carter, might be linking up? Do you have any word on this for us?

There are a lot of rumors linking up with the Jay-Z but no comfirmation on anything just yet, but expect

huge deals and amazing collaborations from me in the near future!

4.Now if you don’t mind, can we talk about your classic album, “There’s

one in Every Family”? That album was ground breaking, still played to

this day by a lot heads, and you really set up a lane for that album.

Yeah, it was my first time talking to the world as a young man, from where I was in in my life. Survival and

was gone talk about it. Memories put to tracks. 1 week later the LP went gold.

5. Being a vet, how much do you think has changed?

The internet and fans are are the major difference today. Consumers want access

to new material ASAP, a lot of anticipation has been removed. But I also did the courage

of new fans to support what they want no matter if its world trending or not. Jetplane/IronGang.

6. Also what do you think about these younger kids coming up? Do you haveanybody we should check for that is upcoming?

studio?

I need music turned up, access to a great engineer, and that OG chit you smell dat!

to work with on a future project?
