Hoopla Worldwide released a street anthem that features Jay Rock, a member of hip hop supergroup Black Hippy, along with fellow California based rappers and label mates Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul. Jay Rock ( XXL Freshman Alumni) was also featured on Kendrick Lamar’s highly-successful and critically acclaimed album “Good Kid, M.A.A.D City” that was Executive Produced By Dr Dre and released by Aftermath / Interscope Records. On this new Hoopla release titled “The Hookah Lounge Volume 1″, Jay Rock has teamed up with Noah Jones — the monstrous emcee who has worked with Crooked I, Knoc-turn’al, Glasses Malone, Jimi Kendrix, Nipsey Hussle, Sly Boogie and many more. According to the mag, Kardashian’s first Met Gala experience was a “nightmare” because “some online commenters” speculated that her boyfriend is “in a romantic relationship with the man who designed her controversial dress, Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci.”

A so-called “friend” tells the tab, “Kim freaked out. If it turns out Kanye is involved with Riccardo, she will be utterly embarrassed — more so than she’s ever been in her life.”

In Touch writes, “There are some facts Kim can’t deny,” noting, “Kanye has spent her entire pregnancy living close to Riccardo in the French capital… And Riccardo recently purchased an apartment less than half a mile from Kanye’s in NYC’s Soho neighborhood.”

“Kanye is obsessed with Riccardo,” reveals another supposed “insider” for the rag, who adds, “They have a very deep bond.”

In what can only be described as a major surprise, not to mention a particularly unique twist, Harris had his scholarship to Michigan State rescinded after he posted the explicit rap video you see above to YouTube. In the course of a 3:26 span, Harris rhymes about having sex, smoking illegal drugs and being awesome at life in general.

Naturally, all of these are particularly normal, even banal tropes for most rappers, yet they aren’t particularly attractive to the NCAA. In fact, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Michigan State decided to pull its scholarship from Harris after it saw his music video for “DatBull 4 Life” (Harris raps under the stage name “Jay DatBull”), which kicks off with a massive puff on a substance which looks an awful lot like a substance which is firmly on the government’s list of illegal narcotics.

While losing a Division I football scholarship would seem like a particularly traumatic experience for an athletic 18-year-old, Harris took the entire incident in stride. In fact, it appeared he had made a clear choice to chase rap stardom over a future on the field, telling the Philadelphia Inquirer that his move from the gridiron to full-time rap had been held up in the past by his lack of courage, not any indecision.

“I’ve always had this in the back of my head, but never had the courage to tell my parents that this is what I want to do,” Harris told the Inquirer.

For the record, Michigan State said that Harris not honoring his scholarship was a mutual decision, which is significant for one reason: It means Harris is almost certainly the first teenager to back away from an almost sure four-year free ride to rap since Will Smith passed on MIT.

Only time will tell if Jay DatBull actually becomes successful in the studio, but he has lined up a June 1 record release date, with critically acclaimed producer M. Stacks agreeing to produce his debut album. The YouTube video for DatBull 4 Life has also already been viewed more than 50,000 times on the video sharing site

Some of those views were probably generated by Harris’ football fame, though he may have earned some organically as well. Either way, he’ll now have to prove that he is worthy of attention on his own without the football accomplishments and pedigree behind him.

David Beckman, 64, of the 600 block of East Devon Avenue, was charged with the crime after police learned the bird died while they were investigating Beckman about an alleged case of indecent solicitation of a child.

Details surrounding the case with the peacock, reportedly named Phyl, were unclear Friday, as investigators said it was part of the case involving the child, the Daily Herald reported.

Court records confirmed Beckman faces three charges of harassment by telephone, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of marijuana possession, attempted indecent solicitation of a child, cruelty to animals, and two counts of battery.

He remained in the DuPage County Jail on Friday on a $10,000 bond. An arraignment was scheduled for June 12.

Comparing the first game to Ridley Scott’s Alien, Carpenter believes that Dead Space is prime material, and is perfect for a Hollywood outing.

When asked about the Dead Space series, Carpenter said, “The first game was more – I guess it was like Alien – but not quite. It was a little different than that.

“I maintain that Dead Space would just make a great movie because you have these people coming onto an abandoned, shut-down space ship and they have to start it up and something’s on board. It’s just great stuff.

“I would love to make Dead Space, I’ll tell you that right now. That one is ready-made.”

EA’s Dead Space was initially a sci-fi Resident Evil clone, and managed to establish itself as a very respectable franchise. Later iterations, such as Dead Space 3, have dropped the horror quotient in favor of action and multiplayer, but the original game is still a survival horror classic, and if I’d have to pick any director to bring the series to the silver screen, it’d be Carpenter.

This choice is not only because of The Thing, which would obviously give him ample credence when it comes to plentiful space-gore and mutating human creatures, but also his unique style. Most of his films, such as the amazing Escape from New York (no, there never was an Escape from LA, I refuse to believe it), and Assault on Precinct 13 (no, there never was a remake, you’re wrong!) all have that heightened feeling of tension, and his filming style would be perfect for replicating the bleak, dark vision of the future seen in EA’s title.

Of course, whether it’ll happen or not is purely speculative, and so far EA hasn’t made any real moves in bringing the series to movie (aside from the animated movies Downfall and Aftermath). If it did, however, with Carpenter behind it, a Dead Space movie could be that very possible Holy Grail – a game-based movie that’s actually decent.

Ralph Polnicky of Shawnee, Oklahoma is outraged, damn it!  And he has a good reason to be! Allegedly after an “ugly” confrontation with an employee at the Tractor Supply store, Polnicky received a threatening 8-inch dildo in the mail with “Ralph Is A Dick!!” and “Tractor Supply. Don’t come back!!” written on it.

“We were aghast, I mean, we were absolutely shocked by what’s in this box,” he said. “My wife was, just, ‘Oh my God! What, who is this? What do they want? What are they going to do next?’”

Polinky says “Don’t come back!” was shouted at him by the employee at Tractor Supply after Polinky complained “about taking too long to order a product.”

According to reports, “Tractor Supply acknowledged hearing about the package but couldn’t say anything about it. ”
